Dr. Fahrettin Koca was born on January 2, 1965, in Konya. He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown and graduated from Bursa Erkek Lisesi. In 1988, he completed Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and obtained the title of medical doctor. He specialized in the Department of Pediatric Health and Diseases at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, becoming a Pediatric Health and Diseases Specialist in 1995.

He has held various positions as a physician and medical director in various healthcare institutions. In the healthcare institutions he founded and chaired, he made significant contributions in line with Turkey's healthcare transformation policies. He served as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Medipol University, founded by the Turkey Education Health and Research Foundation (TESA) in 2009.

Dr. Koca is married and has four children. He is a member of several professional organizations, including the Turkish Pediatrics Society, the Pediatric Metabolism and Nutrition Association, the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce (ITO) Health Profession Committee, and the Association of Private Hospitals Healthcare Institutions (OHSAD). He also serves as the Deputy Chairman of the Education Committee at the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEIK) and is the President of the Foundation University Hospitals Association and the Chairman of the Healthcare Services Committee at the Association of Service Exporters.
